Going out in Krabi Town.

Krabi Town doesn’t have a nightlife like like Bangkok, Pattaya or Phuket, but the few hotspots and mellow pubs in Krabi are well worth visiting, with live music and place to have a conversation.

Along the riverside and around Chaofa a lot of guesthouses accommodate small bars and café’s for the foreign visitors of Krabi, while a more Thai style nightlife can be found at Room 69, on Maharat road.

For travelers looking for some reggae the Buffalo is a great place to be, a wooden bar which is a great meeting place with a 3 way open view, visited by many of foreign island-hoppers.

A hard to miss place is Chilling, which with its bright orange lights can be seen from a mile away. In this place Thai and foreign customers mingle in the most relaxed way,and it’s a place where you can get in for breakfast and go out late in the night.

Another great place in Krabi, to relax and tell your travel stories is the Old West Bar, where most of the music is rock, the owner a great source of handy information and a great place to sip a beer.

Ran by the same owners, Room 69 and Room Garden feature DJs as well as live music and have earned the reputation of being pretty much the nightlife hotspots for the young Thais, where only a few foreigners will be found mingling. Room Garden also serves delicious food.
